The history of the Cru began in 1996 when Elizabeth decides to buy a beautiful vineyard of 12 hectares site near Pereta. The project aims to replant now about half of the vineyard and in a choice between Elizabeth decides to stake everything - again - on Sangiovese. Are then selected four clones of Sangiovese, which together with the existing one, give birth since 1997 in Poggio Valente, a Morellino di Scansano Cru loved, and expected every year, the most demanding palates. Fattoria Le Pupille Poggio Valente 2007 (Sangiovese and Alicante)

TASTING NOTES:
- Color: Fattoria Poggio Valente Le Pupille 2007 is red.
- Smell: Mixed bouquet and composed, catchy and fresh, with hints of violets and blueberries and cranberries on top, which are followed by hints of licorice candy, China bark, nutmeg, blond and a hint snuff End of vanilla.
- Taste: The palate is full, fleshy, enveloping, soft and appealing to the sweetness of expression and a pronounced tannic structure but round. The persistence of Bella, with yields of fruit taste and smell red continuous and consistent, and a brief appearance and sudden disappearance of a faint hint of almond.
