The history of the Cru began in 1996 when Elizabeth decides to buy a beautiful vineyard of 12 hectares site near Pereta. The project aims to replant now about half of the vineyard and in a choice between Elizabeth decides to stake everything - again - on Sangiovese. Are then selected four clones of Sangiovese, which together with the existing one, give birth since 1997 in Poggio Valente, a Morellino di Scansano Cru loved, and expected every year, the most demanding palates. The 2006 vintage is the last of the old vineyard. The adventure starts ... the project began ten years ago ended with the last part of the replanting of vineyards.
